Our Story

Get to know Dr. Nicholai Sorochinsky and his Rochester practice.

mini-20.jpg

Dr. Nicholai Sorochinsky has been a chiropractic patient practically all his life. He received his first adjustment at 4 weeks old and grew up experiencing the benefits of chiropractic in his own life and his family’s. He has an intrinsic desire to share the benefits of chiropractic with others, because it has made such an impact on his own.

He earned his degree in Biology from Penn State in 2002, then continued to the New York State Chiropractic College and completed his degree there in 2005. He has studied Applied Kinesiolgy since 2002 and helps teaching and examination for the Applied Kinesiolgy certification course. He completed externships with other applied kinesiologists in their offices learning from the masters of AK. He has completed chiropractic rotations at Monroe Community Hospital, the Rochester VA Clinic and Saint Joseph’s Neighborhood Center where he volunteered his services in a multidisciplinary setting.

As a doctor, he is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients. Dr. Nicholai combines nutrition, applied kinesiology and chiropractic to provide a powerful and unique healing technique, which sets him apart from other practitioners. His specialties include whiplash, low back pain, digestive-tract issues, sciatic pain, preventive care, and difficult-to-solve problems. Dr. Nicholai and his wife have been helping people pursue wellness since 2005 and currently treats in his office at Linden Oaks at the corner of Pittsford, Brighton, and Pennfield.

Dr. Nicholai uses a "whole person" approach, treating patients, not just conditions. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and making whatever adjustments are necessary — whether diet, lifestyle, or physical. This allows Dr. Nicholai to help you to achieve good health and maintain it for life.
